One of the most absurd things about life is its repetitive nature. We go through these cycles hoping that if we do this instead of that, the result would end up different.
On the surface, it’s that simple. But the moment we arrive where we dreamed of being, there’s this lingering feeling that makes us question if anything changed at all.
That’s where my obsession with the in-between stems from— it’s the only place where everything we’ve done for an era of our life seems to make sense.
The only place where all our choices and actions up to this point actually feel like they made a difference.

Maybe I’m just romanticizing the transitional periods of life, chasing a feeling that isn’t meant to last longer than 3 minutes.
But I can’t help but want the time I spent in this world to be filled with moments of meaning.
